Joyous occasion
spirit uplifting
time flying away into the abyss of
our memory
lost as the species
travelling long ago
we come in peace, leave in harmony
pain is our misery, but misery is our love
in which we cherish ourselves
our undying passion for the things we hate
ideas and thoughts run rampant today,
each opinion formed in it's own little way..

Jae,
I'm not sure I understand this one, but parts of it really pull me in, and make me want to understand the rest. But maybe it is just a Yankee-Canuck thingy? Let me know ok? I still want to understand this one.

above, an old friend that i hadn't spoken to in quite some time had gotten married..hence the first 2 lines. next 2 lines - it had been so long since i had even really thought of her..lost memories and such..i almost couldn't believe how long it had been.

we are peaceful when we are born and (i think) most people pass in harmony with the world..they accept it and some are relieved that it is over, content with what they have done, etc. but there are those, like my friend, who no matter how happy they are - they need the pain, the misery..without all of it, they feel the love is not complete..does that make sense? then the end is just a bit about the world in general in that so many people have so many ideas and thoughts, and how they work it out in thier head is how they form thier opinions.. whether the info is true or false... basically, i ws speaking of myself though, and my opinion of her situation..
I hope the explanation has made at least a bit more sense than the poem did..lol. sorry bout the confusion... if not, let me know and i will do a q & a thing with ya..!
*thank you and mucho mucho hugs* - always, jae _________________ "..it's the

Jae,
I think I was having a blonde moment.
Do you forgive me?

Of course I forgive you, but I don't think it was a blond moment. It is quite confusing, which is why I posted the response with the poem - so that if anyone else read it, they wouldn't be horribly confused as well! lol. I didn't even think about it....It's hard to see sometimes when you are the one who wrote it.
