soul’s truth…
deep seated thoughts
invade my soul,
questioning my life
my love, my role,
these questions i have
fill my being,
but the truth of them all
i’m not seeing
for who am i
i often question,
beginning to become
quite an obsession,
self thoughts, they continue
to fill my day,
of why i think this
and not another way
why these feelings
that control my mind,
seep through to my soul
and my heart combined,
if they were ones
that could be changed,
would i feel comfortable
or completely estranged
sometimes i believe
we question too much,
and make life harder
as each questions touch,
a part of our being
that needs to belong,
but our soul’s truth
- is never wrong
