Nothing

darkness shadows
the light of my aura
which is naturally electric blue,

i am stuck in emptiness
and wallowing in sorrow
is there a prayer for this
or am i hollow?

the thick dark force
that envelops my dreams
is relentless
like a black stallion

i can barely envision the light of day
when i am coerced this way
hating myself as a necessary evil
painting black memories upon the easel.

How can I grow some light
underneath this thickening plight?

I want to connect to life
and shed my strife
let go of the reins
and watch the black horse ride on.

Everything that used to be whole
is fragmented and pushed away.
Please God get me out of this hole,
I know you have the sway.

With all this in mind
I am still blowing smoke in heaven.
And that is not very kind.
