The wretched awakening of the
beast inside
it shows no faces but there
it hides
waiting to escape I'm counting
the days
It's sadness has left me many
a dismay
"Come here my child" ('The Devil's
her name)
she hides and waits but to her
disdain
An out cannot be permitted for
this thing
That is something only I
seem to bring...
"About"
I say and with a word I see one
side of her face, dark and lonely - needing
of my embrace. I reach to close her in
my arms of steel only to find her
digging in her heels. "Don't" she says -
"It souldn't be right".... No my
lady, I don't see it happening
tonight.
