One More

Dawn breaks as dark leaves her ugly
face broken in Shadows gone to find solitude
in herself hiding from fair daylight who is
her uninhibited foe creeping in suddenly
as if to say "I'm better than you" like
the summer days do to wash away the
cold and bring the rain the plentiful
warmth and bright sunrays that Burn
if you stay out too long.
