Hoping for an answer
Grrrrr.......!!!!! These mysterious, random and annoying pains I have had for over 9 months now continue, and I for one am FED UP with them. They are wearying (and occcasional downright painful) and trying to find a cause is becoming expensive. I've had external and interal ultrasounds of my uterus, bloodwork to rule out inflammation etc, a colonoscopy, an internal examination by hand (yuk) and still no explanation. So, next Monday I'm headed for a CT scan, though I'm not sure if I actually want them to find anything LOL. I see this as my Dr's last resort. So let's all hope that it shows something as simple as a dodgy appendix, cause I don't have a gallbladder. Fingers crossed. _________________ Be yourself.............everybody else is taken!

Sorry to hear you are in so much pain! Navigating the medical system on your own can just add to the stress.
I hope the CT scan provides some answers. Keep us posted. I'll be thinking of you.
Hugs,

MG, You mentioned appendix, I supposed the pain is near your lower right area? I wonder if it is endometriosis? The disease is hard to diagnose. Not all doctors know how. The pain comes and goes....
Hope you find out soon. Take care! _________________ follow your dreams!

Thanks ladies. The pain truly is not bad, it's just annoying cause you never know when it will start and if it will last 30 seconds or 30 minutes. And yeah, Naturelover, the pain is in my lower right side, sort of an inch down and in from my right hipbone. I'm thinking the internal ultrasound would have spotted endometriosis, plus I'm post-menopausal so don't have to worry about ;periods anymore. Appendix sounds real good at the moment, just whip it out and problem solved.

Fingers crossed for Monday, hope they find the problem and it's easy to sort. I also hope you're not in too much pain in meantime.
