Sending prayers and positive energy to both you and your mom.
My mom fell and broke her pelvis in three places in May. She wouldn't go to the doctor for a while. She thought it would be okay and that it wasn't broken. She is fine now though and still living on her own.
I pray that your mom is as strong and stubborn as my tiny little mom.
Please keep me posted.

This morning my dear 90 year old Mother fell and has broken her leg. As I type she is underging surgery but the outcome is unsure as her bones are very brittle and may not support a pin. Up to now she has been living independently with help from the family. It's been a long exhausting day in a busy public Hospital and I'd just like for anyone who cares to send some positive energy out there into the Universe for her. She so deserves it.
