Hello Ladies...indeed!
Why do I feel like I just ripped open the shower curtain?
For those of you (and I fear there are many) that don't know me, I'm Jack Napes. I used to post here some time ago and enjoyed the company very much.
I know.
"Why on earth would a man want to post on a Lesbian site?"
Doesn't he know what a lesbian is?
Please forgive my presumptuousness, you may not have said that at all.
But believe me, I feel that it's a valid question.
But you know what?
No one asked.
So I posted replies, some of my cheesy poetry, and made some friends in a forum for haiku with several others.
I really enjoyed it.
So I just wanted to tell you who I am.
Maybe some of that old stuff is still here.
Whether or not it is or it isn't, I'd like to leave you with something I wrote. Forgive me for putting here, but I really would like you all to have it.
I Couldn't Be Mistaken, ...even in this light
Pale blue rippling over black satin linens
So soft a sound from each rising tide
Skimming a stone over waters of wishes
I couldn't be mistaken
...even in this life
Thoughts bearing visions pretending deceptions
Love lasting longer than money could buy
A promise of virtues left unattended
I couldn't be mistaken
...even in this life
Felt on the breezes of breath from her sighing
Longings of lovers left spent in the night
Her shining lips now speak of her passion
I couldn't be mistaken
...even in this light
I hope you liked it.
I haven't seen many names that I once knew. I don't want to mention them in the event that you may not want me to for any reason. I trust you understand my view.
Okay then, it was nice to stop and see that Mel's board is healthy, vibrant, and vital to your community of friends.
I'll bid you all good-bye.
Be well,
everyone!
...and Mel, I hope it wasn't you in the shower!

Hugs Jack, you know you are always welcome. I love these kind of surprises when sipping coffee with bed head, expecting the usual and pop... an old name flickers on the screen waving hello and seeding poetry. Nice poem by the way, I loved it. At least stay for coffee before you run off.
