my toes well on the heal
gotta go back to the podiatrist tomorrow and hopefully i won't have to dress my toe anymore!
it's a pain to do as i struggle to get down to my toe because of my back problems
day 11 today and i've had a craving today whilst i was fishing but managed to block it out

sorry to hear about your poor cat, i bet it's a right battle to give him his meds
i know the struggle i have when it comes to giving felix his eardrops (thankfully it's every other month now)

Great work Tracey, I'm so very proud of you.

Like to say Im totally somokefree but unfortunately with the stress I am under in my private life and all the hours Im working, its probably not the best time but I am thinking conciously about each one and am keeping it at about 3 a day.

And Purp, I have no idea how you are managing to give a cat an asthma in haler??? Good grief. My little dog has to have an injection twice a say for her diabetes but thankfully she is such a good baby about it.

EEEEK!

i've put weight on!
just got a new pair of cargo trousers delivered
they are the same size and style as the ones i've been wearing
they are too tight!
so now i'm enrolling at my local slimming world
talked to a really nice lassie on the phone earlier
and she told me abit about the group and put me a lil at ease

i've been seriously overweight since my motorbike accident as my mobility was affected
i've tried all sorts of diets and failed
hopefully this time i will succeed and in 6 months time you will see a much slimmer ex smoker posting here! Very Happy

((((((((((Tracey)))))))))))

well done in trying to combat smoking Smile You should be really proud of yourself Smile

Not many people know that 7 months ago I gave up smoking too!! lol. I went total cold turkey after smoking anywhere between 20 and 30 a day for around 27 years.

I bought myself Paul McKennas 'Quit Smoking Today' book, read one third of it, did 2 exercises from it, listened tot he hypnotherapy CD and have'nt had a ciggie since. (*whispering...actually I still have'nt finished the book or done the other exercises in it either lol).

I've gained weight too....but there is light at the end of the tunnel lol........my weight increase finally stabilized after around 4 months and now, another 3 months down the line the weight I gained is starting (albeit very slowly) to come off.

I feel heaps better for not smoking and there's absolutely no way I'll ever take them up again. I tried for years and years to give up....and now...finally....I know I cracked it!! Smile

luv'n'hugs,

Mel xx

(((((((((((((((Mel)))))))))))))))))

Well done!

day 19 now and this evening i'm off down the road to my parents
this weekend is gonna be a challenge!
i get so stressed out whilst i'm there and normally use smoking as an escape as i have to go outside into the garden
so now have to find another hiding place or another excuse to go outside!

Congratulations Mel, that is some achievement!!!

Good luck with the weekend Tracey. (My sister promises me we're only going to the wrinklies from early friday evening to late afternoon saturday, so I get off easy.) My thoughts will be with you, particularly when my mum is driving me nuts! Hmmm, can't you offer to water the flowers Laughing even in the rain, set up a treasure hunt, go visit other people, um I'm running out of reasons....
Wud also offer go fetch the paper, get more milk/bread/bacon, (walking to take longer), go n get flowers for your mum but not sure how much walking you can do yet! Bonus is they think you're really helpful. What did the podiatrist say??
Don't even think about a diet til after Easter!! Laughing Good luck with Slimming World - it's quite good. You are turning into a group junkie!

Good luck with the weekend Tracey.

Wow Mel, I am SO impressed...............you make me feel even guiltier than I do for back sliding like this. Good luck with the weight loss.

pho and I quit for two days and almost killed each other! We decided it wasn't worth ending a relationship....lol. So we went out and bought some ciggies but we aren't smoking as much as before.
