My name is Katherine and, well, I've only recently realized that I prefer women over men. "Recently" being a little over half a year ago. My best friend and I realized it at the same time and we've been together ever since, trying to figure things out. At first, I thought that I might be bisexual... but I just can't imagine being with a man, nor have I ever connected with a man... and when I think of my future, a woman's in the picture. So... I think I've finally figured things out. At least for now.
I hope to get to know everyone here! Everyone seems very nice.

Well, welcome to Mel's! There is a great community of ladies here at all ages and stages of coming out and what have you. Browse through the boards and feel free to post questions. There are also story and poetry boards other than this general board. You can acess them by the P and S buttons at the top of the page. While you are looking at the top of the page you might also want to check out chat. It is a great way to get to know some great ladies. It does require a separate registration to enter chat. Lately on Wednesday evenings we have been playing games in there.
