Hey

My name is Tina and I am currently serving a 15 mont tour in Iraq with the Army. I am a combat medic, so I have a very stressful job. I work very longs hours and the days off are very far and few inbetween. I am orginally from south Alabama and stationed at Ft Campbell, KY. After I return home in Jan 2009, I will transfer to Ft Hood, TX. I am not sure if I will stay in the military or not. Still pondering on that one! I have a son and he is the light of my world. I miss him dearly. I treasure my friends and family members. I have learned to not to worry about the small things in life anymore. I am just happy that I am able to live another day. Life is short, so live it up! Iraq has opened my eyes. The number of soldiers that I have seen on my trauma bed, have made me realize how important my family really is. You life can be gone in a matter of seconds. Make sure your family know how much they mean to you. They are that you have in the end.
