TWO YEARS AGO...

Two years ago, on 1 December 2005 (she will have you know that it ACTUALLY was still 30 November in Hawaii), the most awesome and amazing and smart and beautiful and wonderful and sensitive and warm and loving woman imaginable sat in front of her computer, did some surfing, and came across Mels. She read a few posts and poems, and decided to become a member. The rest, as they say, is history.

I became the luckiest woman in the world when we fell in love, and she transplanted herself to Africa...

...and all i want to say today, my love, is this: THANK YOU

THANK YOU for registering that day here on Mels...
THANK YOU for helping behind the scenes everyday to keep Mels the great place it is...

most of all...
THANK YOU for all that you are, everyday, to all of us, and especially to me

Thank you Sweetheart.

I must say that stumbling upon this website was a turning point in my life, and I didn't think that would have been possible for life to change from just a little thing like joining a website. But, it set into motion lots of other things that have made me a very lucky woman.

Thank you for all you are. I look forward to growing old with you.

Words cannot convey the depth of my feeling so I'll just say...

I love you,

Congratulations, Hawaiian and Realwoman!

TWO years?! Wow! Thank goodness for communities like Mels, as they seem to work magic; for you two between November 30 and December 1, for others at other special moments.

I second Cave's comment: it's good to know you're still smiling.

Hugs,

Congrats to the two of you!! I agree Hawn, who knew something as simple as joining a website could change your life forever!! I too met my wonderful lady (Lycoris) here. It'll be one glorious year on the 25th! Of course we both are grateful for a lil intervention ... known around Mels as Xalia ... lol

Again, congrats to the both of you!! Here's to many more years together to you and many more years here at a wonderful place we all call 'home'....Mels!

((((((((((((((((Real & Hawn)))))))))))))
