Belated Congratulations, Mel! You deserve this. We all know that women can be anything they want to be, but it's so neat to know real life role models. Being a scientist is so cool. Smile I hope you broke open a bottle of bubbly to celebrate. Again, Congratulations!

Don't be too excited about my new title lol...I haven't figured out what it means yet *chuckling. I used to be a Senior Scientist but I reckon that was just cos I'm 'old as dirt' lol.....god knows what they're trying to tell me with the new title!

I think we need to make sure Cat doesn't work herself into the ground too *smiling....but...thank you for the concern because it is appreciated. Plus.....she definitely takes good care of me...need I say more? *winking.

 I think I've still got to figure that one out!

I had to look it up in the dictionary......it means I'm more important than I was before I got promoted lol....(quote: most important, consequential, or influential : chief). ....though....there are plenty of bigger chiefs above me...but their called Managers lol.

 I have but one dream.....(and she knows who she is lol...oh...so does the entire site for that matter *chuckling). I'm not sure this promotion will bring me closer but......I could get myself a plane ticket now! Smile

As for celebrations...I bought the others in the office a huge tin of chocolates which were promptly devoured in record time.
