Jings!... I'm on a roll...
I seem to be on a bit of a roll lately. I received news of the following publishing successes.
Beyond the Cloister Publications
http://beyondthecloister.co.uk/ whilst not taking me on for a single-poet volume did kindly accept my poem “
Apples
” on behalf of
The Rainbow Poetry News
, quarterly newsletter of the Rainbow Poetry Movement. The Movement’s main meetings are in the South East of England, and its main interest is in promoting poetry recitals. My poem appears in issue 18 of that newsletter, alongside works by such poets as:

The prestigious
Rubies in the Darkness
(a magazine of traditional romantic and spiritually-inspired poetry) has accepted my poem “
by Peter
” for issue 11, and “
Cousin to ‘each uisge’
” and “
Things my father taught me in the wood
” for issue 12.
None of this represents a major break-through, but it is satisfying nonetheless.

Thank you both.
There is one disadvantage to success. If I am to take publication seriously, I am going to have to move more and more into a world where publishers, editors, and sponsors of poetry competitions will expect my works not to have been published elsewhere. This will mean that my contributions to Mels and to allpoetry will dwindle, and maybe cease altogether.
That would be a shame. Mels is the place where I first became aware that I could write poetry.
