That's an interesting statistic that you provided -- that 15% of women come out after the age of 40. It'll probably stick in my head from now on. Smile

I don't wish to depress you Love is but 15% of women do not come out after the age of 40 it is 15% of the women who come out are over 40!!! LOL

Never mind - there will still be plenty for you to choose from Smile

Hi Love Is Smile Welcome to Melswebs....

it's never too late to fall in love, never too late to meet that one special person, never too late to give your heart.

I'll be 44 very soon and met the woman of my dreams right here on this site at the age of 42. We're devoted to each other and I've never known a love so intensely beautiful.

I'm a strong believer in fate, that love finds a way no matter what life throws in our path...you just have to believe.

hugs,

Mel

Lol, Enigma! Yes, I get the distinction. The former interpretation was too good to be true! LOL!

Hey Love Is, you've already heard it several times from the ladies here, but I will chime in too. Im not near 40, nor have I already been 40, but I do know it's not too late to start looking for your sweetheart. 40 is a great age to start looking! Everyone knows women only get better with age (speaking from personal experience here hehe) Very Happy so get out there and find that lucky woman! Good luck Exclamation

I too agree with Cave ....Hell No....as well as other things that were said. It is never to late to manifest anything in your life or to start to learn or be interested in a new thing.

That connection of love will find its way through anything!

Professional success is awesome, but once achieved will bring about in awakening people the contemplation and wonder about what more to life there is, what IS life about, what do I want in my life and why haven't I gone after it!!!! Love is one of those things that can certainly weave it's way in when given the room and the desire!

I am 46, getting younger everyday and expecting to find the most outrageous relationship of my life this year. The sexiest, the wildest, the most outrageous...a partner who reflects my own self love, self responsibility and great mind. And by the way Love Is....I AM in the Pacific Northwest !!!!

Ah yes Wyldepum, the Pacific Northwest -- one of the most beautiful places on Earth! And aren't we lucky we live here?! Smile

Look at it this way:
You are a professional with a successful career;
You know what you want out of life;
You have attained 40 yrs of experience and maturity;

Let yourself loose woman!

I'm 36 and came out recently. No inhibitions, nothing holding me back. Although I have yet to meet "the one", the ride has been amazing. I'm glad I blossomed late b/c of what I can bring to the table now.

There's nothing like loving and being loved by a woman!

YOUR JUST FORTY and your worrying? Its us younger ones that have to worry, we go through girl after girl meeting on heart ache and break, we think we have met our soulmate when we havent then more pain. But you late bloomer come out and as soon as you come out find the love of your life, life is so unfair, i should have waited, but then i would have the fun that i am having now. Hang in there!! You might even meet her here at mel!!!!
