and who doesnt know your gay asks "who is jane "
what would you say ?
girlfriend or partner?
this has always interested me so come on tell the truth now girls.

Hey Joolsy - for me it depends on who I am talking to.. some people you just don't want to get into it with. But generally, I say girlfriend, or girl. Girl is versatile and you're telling like it is.. most people just may not get the full meaning. If you don't care if they know, tell them either girlfriend or partner, but if you don't want to go into it, say roommate. It's up to you really...hope that helps!!

At this point in my life I might say a friend, at least to my parents, so they don't get all freaked out about her sleeping in my room. But to my friends I'd say girlfriend, and eventually would tell my parents. I'd just be like "This is Jane, she's my girlfriend." If they mention something about staying in my room, I'd say "You can't get pregnant and it's hard to get STD's from girls, so I don't care what you think." Yeah, maybe I'd just do that. Unless the girlfriend was new to her sexuality and didn't want people to know yet, or something. That's something you might take into consideration.

Well if it is my friends or family I say girlfriend or now I can say fiance.
