Peeking through blinds
Eyes I see on the street
Everyday
But would never know
Because now they are
Masked by windows
Shocked in the safety of their houses
Enclosed by white picket fences
Guarded by boarder collies
Bewildered by a situation
They can't quite comprehend
Or seem to understand
Caught between fear
And complete hatred
For a subject
They cannot begin to grasp
And while we are looked at
With disgust
Looked down on
Because of our
"alternative lifestyle"
Slander, whispers
Constantly under watch
Survalance
Not my big brother
But by towns people
So while they frown in dissapproval
We make love by candle light
Their snears and hateful words
