hi guys, i've liked girls and pretty much acknowldeged it for a while except that I've been dating guys till now by choice but also because I have no clue how to figure out which women are gay/bi. I mean, i have a gaydar for men, but not really for women (unless someone is the stereotyped lesbian, i know, this is so not pc). i guess online/gay organizations are some ways to meet people, but what about more organic ways of recognizing gay women? I've just made the decision to make a conscious effort to pursue this and hope someone can help. Excuse me if i sound a lil' ridiculous maybe....thanks for reading this!

call the local LGBT community center and find out what events are going on there and in town. We have meetings every wednesay, a women's dinner group, a singles game night, girls night at the local gay bar once a month, writers group once a month and they are all ways not just to meet someone but talk about issues.
You're not alone and it's always nice to feel like, 'i'm ok and not so different". Of course, you may meet someone as well. Just find out where gays tend to hang out in your area, and frequent those places more often.
good luck,

I'm convinced that the reason I have no gaydar is because of the lack of selection.
