Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Perth residents woke to another icy morning today, with a record cold snap making it Perth's 14th night in a row below 5C.
The temperature in Perth reached a minimum of 0.4C at 6.10am and reached 0.5C just before 7am.
Temperatures at Perth airport was minus 0.3C this morning.
The latest series of nights under 5C breaks the July 1997 record of nine.
Although you who live in snow and ice countries might laugh at me, this is damn cold for us and I for one have had enought!!!

Cave, those are our exact numbers for today, too!
MG, I'm sending you some extra sunrays, sunblock, and ice cream for good measure. It should all arrive before the warm front moves in.
Stay warm!

We are having our hottest weather in five years this week.
Nothing like getting in the car after you've been at work and it's been sitting in the parking lot all day.
Wowzers! Now that is hot!

That's funny.
Someone I work with was complaining about the heat the other day at work and I told them to hush because you never have to clean summer off of your car in the morning before you can leave for work. I do not miss it. I love not having to warm up the car or clean it off or even wear a coat or a jacket. I will take the heat anytime over the cold.

Thanks Purp, after 15 days (new record) of sub 5degC mins we have finally warmed up - to driving rain and ferocious gale force winds. Took the whole roof of a block of appartments down on the beachfront yesterday!
I agree with Wys, I can always get cool in Summer somehow.

Glad things have warmed up, wow about the roof.
The rain started here yesterday. In a country with little domestic air-conditioning & inadequate commercial air-cooling systems, the heat can be a real problem to some. I love it!
