i did it
i told my parents
hadn't planned to do it tonight!
i just felt cornered with my mums guilt trips
so i told!
result:- mum laughed in my face! said i wasn't in my right mind, said i'm being stupid, that it was impossible for me to be in love
dad laughed and said not under my roof!!!!
sat here now shaking
can't believe i did it!
but in a way glad
guess feelin a little insecure and alone now

my mum phoned tonight
spent over an hour on the phone
she sort of apologiesed for how she laughed and what she said the other night
she seems to think it's her fault!!!
like it's a bad thing!!!
tried to tell her it wasn't
but she kept twisting the words
though she sort of accepts it!
she isn't happy!
but as she said i am still her daughter _________________ I know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok. They know me here.

oops, sorry Tracey, I am a bit slow today, just saw this after I posted the other...
WOW.....I am soooooooo proud of you, Tracey!!!! Wow, that takes so much strengtha nd courage to do.....CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You have grown in maturity at least 10 years with saying those words to your parents, trust me. That is ownderful. And don't worry so much about the initial reaction, amsure it was kind of a shock to them, hene you rmom wasn't in her right mind, you ARE!!!
I wish you the best of luck and increasing acceptance by your family!!

that's great, I'm sure they'll come to terms with it soon enough. If they don't, well that's their problem!
