Sort of alone

I've been out for a few years now but I can't seem to find anyone. It's a bit hard to find other lesbians around here (New Orleans) I guess because of Katrina. I'm going to the local college UNO and I'm in the Rainbow Alliance club and I'm almost the only lesbian in the group all the others are gay guys, one bisexual married girl. The married girl said she's going to help me find a girlfriend she has some lesbian friends. But I still feel like I'm just walking around alone. I don't know I'm 22 and never had a girlfriend and I'm still a virgin (In the lesbian sinse). I love being out but sometimes I wonder what's the point if I can't share it with another woman.

Check out The Sanctuary, its a bar on Causeway Blvd in Metairie. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the people are nice. Its usually about 50% straight/50% gay. The gay 50% is predominately lesbians.

Also, there is toxic, a lesbian nightclub in Metarie (in Fat City)

Thanks I've been to Toxic but it wasn't open. Do you know their hours? I've really been wanting to go there.

I'm not sure of the hours, but I know its late night.

If you go on a Fri. or Sat. after 9:00 or so, I'm sure it'll be open...
