The road - unfinished

I have just caught a glimpse
of what my life may become
for a moment i could see
around the curve in the road...
I wondered where you were

your bright face no longer
beside mine
your hands no longer
lending themselves to familiarity

I saw love in the rear view mirror
it's red skirt about its knee
trying to catch up
before the road swallowed it once more

I remember thinking
there is all this love
but nowhere for it to grow

Each second is devoured,
devoured by the next
and we are moving to quickly for it to fasten itself
to the wind,
the wind we have created

where were you
where am i........................

it's quite rough ladies, i don't know where it's going yet, a work in progress any feedback?
