Amazing....the love scenes just rake me in.... My "America" is waiting for that dark haired, green eyed beauty *Pulls collar away from neck to reveal a throbbing jugular*

you definatly do vampires justice here. I like the world you've described here; The dark and dreary backgrounds make the action and characters brighter.
And there's so much suspense! I was genuinely surprised when I found out what Anne had in mind for Mala... Although I probably should have guessed that everything leads back to mind-blowing sex in this forum.
I get the feeling of loneliness and loss in the narrator, which i find interesting. I'd like to know where this came from. I feel like this could develope into a whole novel.
I'm surprised you chose the mortal's point of view since you said you're part vamp. So next story...Anne the newly sired vampire comes for me rt ? It's about time, I've been waiting ages for my bite.

I could write from the vampire's point of view,cc, but then most of my readers are mortal. I start with an idea for a story - this one came into my mind whole - and write it from the point of view that seems artistically best to me. The loneliness and loss is part of the story; like everyone else, I have feelings, and I mine them deeply for my stories and poetry. They might not be precisely what I am feeling at that moment, but if I dig deep enough I can find the hurt.
Mind-blowing sex? Yep. Again, it is germane to the story here. I write other stuff where the sexual tension is shown in little more than a fleeting kiss - depends what works.
I am very glad you like it. By the way - the sequel, "Fear Me", is set in ... New York!
