Mb,

I enjoyed this excerpt of the story, is there more to come?

Remind me to have my sister beat you up! LOL j/k I'd do it myself, but only because I can no longer watch Star Trek (or even Star Wars) without thinking of this post and thanking the heavens I don't have the capability to blush!
As for a part 3.........I can't wait. I think I like this spoof better than the original. I wonder why. (Don't laugh, I'm serious.) (Okay, now you can laugh.)

Hugs,
Bj

This is an old piece of writing, but I'm really glad I found it. I love sci-fi movies and was a star trek fan as a young girl (who wasn't!).
Women loving women are conspicuous by their abscence in in sci-fi movies...so you've filled a gap there. Curious to know how closely you followed the original episode...I don't remember it.

By the way, if you ever decide to go down this alley again, feel free to rewrite one of the Alien movie series...featuring Sigourney Weaver...and me of course! Embarassed Laughing Twisted Evil

LOL I guess there will be a line waiting to make a move on Sigourney...

Actually I had a third Star Trek story in draft, moving up to the "Next Generation" cast, and coupling (!) Beverley Crusher and Tasha Yar (ooh!). I still might do that one.

I followed the basic premise of the story in this one, the difference being that it was aristocrats who lived in the levitated city (not just women) and the underclass who lived below. The usual stuff of Kirk ignoring the Prime Directive, and Spock making a device out of nothing... well.. that probably happened in that story as much as in any other. And if there had been a chance for Kirk to interrupt a lesbian orgasm, I am sure the great lug would have done just that.

Actually, the lucky brute got to kiss Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) and Elaan of Troyius (France Nguyen - wow!) in a couple of episodes.

There are elements from other sci-fi things in this story, notably "Barbarella" and E E "Doc" Smith's "Lensmen" series.

Well I'm lost....sooooo not a trekkie......though I'll watch Star Trek and love every minute of it. Star Wars, not so much. Then again, I can't tell the difference. Leave it to me, I guess.
hugs,
