Your older works of prose...
Have you ever looked back at something you wrote and thought, "Was I actually like this? Could I actually have written this?" or "What a crap load of drivel!" And then found yourself clutching your sides as you die of self-embarassed laughter. I just did that actually and as I took my story that I'd written to edit it, deleting whole paragraphs that I knew would absolutely not work, I began to wonder if there was anyone else like me out there who feels the same. Anyone?

I used to be severely pessemistic and depressed ages ago and when I look back at some of the stuff I wrote then I can't even relate to it anymore. Not much of a laughing thing, but on the other hand, I have read some of my old science fiction and found it extremely amusing. _________________ >>"Someone else's pathetic fallacy just rained on my day." - me<<

Suzy,
I've forgotten things I wrote ages ago and then someone pulls them up in archives! lol There are things I've edited that I'm sure were due to being in my pain and on meds(the 'missing' crew will confirm this because the original posts were done while under heavy medication after a surgery! )
Some of it happens because of the slaughtering of language in chat , text messages and IM!
