Nothing more has struck me yet, but if it does, I will let you know! Most good vampire stories have been done - it is too easy to descend into melodrama!

Mb,
I must thank you a million times over. Had I not read this beautiful post, I wouldn't have been inspired to write the book I'm now devoted too. (Read "Katie and Amy" if ya want to.)
Thank you so much,
Froggy

Thank you, froggy - I will go looking for it.

Try the sequel to this story, "Fear Me!" I am also planning a third.

I've read "Fear Me" it was increadible. I first read "Mala, the Last Vampire" because the title reminded me of my friend. Her name is very similar to Mala.

Mb,
Powerful story...*bows to you*
I have always been fascinated with vampire lore...I adored this write.
The fear in seduction... and the beautiful, loving ending.
Thank you.

Oh My Goodness! Ms. M ... this is an amazingly tender story! And so sad ....

This story has now been added to my list of favourites (most of which seem to be yours Wink ).

Thanks for sharing!
*runs off to read the sequels*

It wasn't easy to write, Wil, and the sequel gave me a lot of trouble. I have been stuck since then with an idea for part three, but it will not come right. Sad
