Invitation to the Five Words Game

Hey Girls I do a thread like this at a couple of other sites, where you write a poem from five words and then leave five new words for the next poster etc. etc.
You're all invited, I hope you'll play with me, I'll start and then leave five words for the next person:

evenly, expressions, batteries, schedule, mistletoe

I'd like to schedule a meeting with you under the mistletoe!
When you arrive there with me I shall take your hand
gazing lovingly into your eyes
and then we will share a kiss
with passion evenly matched
and that kiss . . .
will charge my batteries like nothing in this life ever has.

delicate, oblivion, pervades, insidious, heed

Cunni,
This is wonderful and fun.

Walking upon the streams of consciousness can you see
Oblivion creeps from the distant horizons of your soul
Insidious laughter can be heard for all who did not heed
The delicate warning that pulsed from her very heart
To pervade throughout the world to one… to all

Five words for the next person
Concert, Soldier, Spark, Candle, Seek

Concert, Soldier, Spark, Candle, Seek

I am a soldier of Love
my mission is to seek out hatred, wherever it may dwell
and spark a transformation in concert with planting the seeds of love
and then light a candle, say a prayer,
and leave the rest to the powers that be.

pure, knowledge, swirl, licked, harsh

pure knowledge will not swirl
though the stampede licked close
begging harsh words
defy wisdom...............

To both Cunni and Cave...great writes Smile

In my head are thoughts of a tasty encounter with you
While walking down the streets of a cardboard world
The leaves of fall crunch beneath my feet as I trod
A swift wind blows the leaves and they swirl all around
Creating their own melody in this cardboard world

Five words for the next person

Popcorn, Starling, Craft, Honor, Movie

Hugs,

Popcorn, Starling, Craft, Honor, Movie

Between the starlings chatter outside my window,
and the sound of the popcorn popping
somehow I thought I'd still hear the movie
color me optimistic at best or a bit out to lunch
It is soooo not easy to craft a poem from these words but. . .
feeling my honor as a writer was at stake
I did try
don't ask me why!

lean, sharply, wailing, bleak, enormous

Cunni,

Very well done...

Hugs,
Eiregirl Arrow

lean, sharply, wailing, bleak, enormous

Lean over the rail look down at the valley below
Close your eyes and feel the wind rushing along
The wind blows sharply from the northern sky
Hear its mournful song wailing through the trees
Hear the winds song flowing upon the breeze
On this bleak spring morning as birds sing there song
Lean over the rail, look at the enormous valley below
Open your eyes and see the wind rushing along

Five words for the next poem…

Sierra, Siberia, Pepper, Tides, Bottle

Five words for the next poem…

Sierra, Siberia, Pepper, Tides, Bottle

Sierra was her name
and she had that dusky island girl look..
Definately not from Siberia she was
with a personality spicy and hot like pepper,
she was anything but icy!
Sitting on the beach this morning
I watch the tides roll in and out and hope
that they will bring me a message in a bottle
from her of course!

intensity, tsunami, book, call, moon

From Sierra Siberia
To Corpus Christi, Texas
I have hauled a duffel, 3 cd's and a notebook fat with poems
To this tuesday morning beach
Where I swig Dr. Pepper like champagne
And sing your morning-after name
As if I were in church
As if I might love again
As if you weren't my own
Personal Hurricane.

Well, I am a day late and a dollar short (and forgot the words "tides" and "bottle" when my poem bolted away with me), having been beaten to the bell by Pale (whose poem I love, by the way) so it seems only fair that I use her words:

Like a phone call from the moon,
Like a book that combusts in my hands and scatters words like embers,
Like a tsunami in a bell jar,
Like the helpless, heartbroken intensity
Of one who remembers.

luna moth, catechism, river, mojo, sandstone(6 words)_

In the unwritten catechism of love
there is serious mojo to be worked
on the vulnerable heart;
like luna directs and the waves dance to her lead
like a moth is drawn by the flame
you may as well ride with the flow in the river of love as drown
swimming against the currents
with the sandstone on the bottom of the river bed
inscribed with you epitaph,
here lies the fool who tried to escape the warm embrace of love.

invade, attraction, enlightened, folds, compromise

Pale, smart, Cunni...wonderful poems all of you wrote.

invade, attraction, enlightened, folds, compromise

I will never compromise my love…
For you…
You who enlightened me…
To what love could be

Theses thoughts invade my mind
Thoughts of you…
Holding me in the folds of your arms
As you ply your many charms

What is it that draws us together
What is this attraction we share
Is it your eyes that attract me
Those deep pools of tranquility

Is it your touch…
As your arms fold around me

NO

It is love...
Love that invaded our hearts
It is love that enlightened our souls
It is this uncompromised love we share

Five words for the next one
Pierce, Sunshine, Cinnamon, Swim, Grass

invade, attraction, enlightened, folds, compromise

Enlightened midgets fidget in the tower
Studying lint in the folds of their trouser cuffs
While wild girls invade the basement
Living off Lesbian attraction and powerade
They stuff the pockets of their combat pants with poetry that
Shakes the foundations
Curls girls' toes
Kills compromise and
Generally fux up the
Master Plan.

OMG not again!!!!

Ok here's Eire's pierce/sunshine/cinnamon/swim/grass

Nikki sits on the grass
Which is in love with her ass
While Sunshine Superman
Takes a swim around the rim of a Pierce Arrow's hubcap;
Nikki does some X
And wants to have sex with another girl
Wake up in another world
She says that's just the kind of cinnamon I'm in
Baby.
