I've watched you
pull and shape thought,
felt you
massage and wade in the swirl
of symmetrical lucidity.
I know enough to understand
the finely stroked lick of silence
in your hands
and want more
of these small, inching letters.
Tell me of the morsels you pursue.

Re: Pull and Shape Thought
Cave,
I do agree with ghost that this is beautifully done. I've spent a while here inhaling your words. I'm happy that I've stumbled upon this morsel. Forgive me if I'm mistaken, I think I understand why it's here.

Energy flows where attention goes.
The morsels that I already
know
will nourish my soul, those are the ones that I actively seek. A smile, a kind word or the warmth of a hug these types of things I
know
will sustain me. But more often, by chance or karma, or divine intervention, something is thrown into my path that deserves thoughtful attention. These morsels (if I may borrow your words) that "pull and shape thought", these happy happenstances allow me growth. They are meant to be savored. But, life also hands me bitter morsels that I may not want. These things, life's sometimes harsh realities, get a part of my energy because they offer me change.
Mahalo again for your morsel Cave,

Cave,
Went to sleep, woke up, and realized my answer may have been too esoteric. Even though I suspect that you will understand, I came back to read your poem again and to provide an example, using Mels.
I've been on other sites, well, where the lesbians had become mean, defensive and intolerant. I cannot afford any energy spent on viciousness. Thus, my bitter morsel was my opportunity for change.
Finding Mels, was a happy happenstance indeed. Morsels to savor, again and again. And, I appreciate that there is such a diversity, mels already has helped me to grow.
A warm hug,
