Her Path
The midnight moon lured me to her embrace
I stood at the window only to see a
Half naked woman dismantling her
Facial features, piece by piece
Laying them carefully, in to the,
Embalming earth, I realised she was
Making, Her own path
Before the clay became stone
I laid my aching limbs into her
Pit and allowed each facial spike
Enrich my porous skin, Hearing
Savage dogs tear apart raw meat
Sensing the rhythms of our spirit
I knew that, I was not, Alone
I cannot help smiling, knowingly
When I feel, the jolt of a passer-by
Who has, instinctively avoided the
Crux of her cobbled path, I kneed
The corner of my shoulder blade
And feel the corner of her cheek
And smile at the half crescent moon
Knowing, we are separate but yet
We intrinsically belong
