“She is looking for an elephant in the scenery, maybe the clouds”

* “Please, today is drone... it's daft, even the morning hinges squeak”

“And we only have 3 cigarettes left.” Sighs. “Besides, what good is it to scrape oneself up with such intensity all the time? I actually think we're better off in the blase once in awhile, it feeds a certain type of discipline.”

* "I'll get a carton while I am out shopping.”

“Peanuts too.”

* “Yeah, I was figuring on that anyhow.”

“I mean there is a certain notion pending here, chronic dissatisfaction. Either that or often enough to make oneself crazy. It certainly can have it's good points at times.”

* “Maybe the mark of an artist rather than mental illness.”

Laughs.

“I think I need that wash of vibrancy in the significance of things (ritual or not) as well...that 'wow' sometimes.

* “You ready to go? I am hungry. Let's feed the drudgery for now”

“Starved. I like the drudgery with you by the way.”

* Smiles. “Me too.”
