But Why
But Why
By

Feeling the pain, feeling the love
Wondering which was tolerable
Putting down the whip she looked at me
Her hands on her hips, I felt her gaze
She unbuckled the manacles
Freeing me, I fell to the ground
Looking up but she had left me
I saw her sitting on her chair
She said to me, “Child I’m tired.”
I crawled to her, my head on her knee
Hurting, I felt the wounds on me
I looked at her but she was distant
She drew her knees up, her hands on them
She buried her head in her hands
Silence was her only measure
Her silence pervaded my soul
“But why My Mistress?” I questioned
“Is it some fault of mine?” I asked
“Have I failed you in some manner?”
“Would that You would see in my heart.”
“Would that You could see the love there.”
You told me to stay and left the room
Curling up I questioned myself
And knew I desired you back
I remembered you the way you were
The paragon of womanhood
The strength of your touch upon me
You used me for your own purposes
I slowly dressed, cloth on my wounds
Feeling each wound as a badge of love
Knowing what I must do, so strange
The sub in me questioned my motive
So bizarre to be dressed just now
Here where I never covered myself
Standing up I surveyed the room
And went to find My Dearest Mistress
Climbing the stairs I remembered her
I thought back on the days together
Thinking of her words, her love for me
The stillness of my thoughts with her
Seeing her by the balcony
Watching her look out over the sea
She turned and looked at me with sad eyes
Moist and red, they were not her eyes
I approached her and stroked her cheek
I lifted her head and kissed her lips
I felt hands go around me, holding tight
“I Love you Chrissy, I always have.”
She looked at me, and doubt colored her look
Looking at me I could see the haunted eyes
But beyond the present I could see the future
But beyond the present I could see the past
“This is but a moment in time My Love.”
“A passing phase that you will overcome.”
“Come back to me, I need you My Darling.”
“I’ve needed you all my life.”
You looked at me, the glow coming back
I felt you straighten in my arms
You looked at me, I saw you coming back
“But your wearing clothes my child.” you said
“You are never to wear clothes around me.”
I smiled and started to strip off my clothes
Bit by bit the veneer slipped off my soul
Till I stood nude in front of you again
That night you held me and nursed my wounds
You told me of your eternal love for me
You told me of your wishes and desires
And I worked to make them come true
Life goes on between us my love
Life ever after shall be ours
For this moment, now and forever
Know the love that is in my heart
For You…

True love is beautiful in all forms. _________________ Smile! You are loved!
As Purp said "True love is beautiful in all forms" and so is a poem that expresses that love.
Hugs,
