The Muse
Your kiss brings to life the feelings in me...
Lost before your lips touched mine...
Unaware of everything this world could be..
Your presence in my life is almost Devine...
Your kiss has brought creativity to my soul...
Like Gertrude and Alice B... .
Like Linda and Cole..
Your beauty brings lyrics to me...
All the words are because of you...
Before you I was just going through the motions...
In your eyes I have found a new view...
Numb before all of these emotions...
I feel at home in your arms....
Just as the pen feels in my fingers..
I am captivated by your charms
Even when your gone your effect lingers...
Living In The Gray
Not living in the black...
Or living in the white....
Just miles and miles of gray...
Baby you were gone so long...
But here you are in my arms..
My mistakes lead you away...
I hold you tight to me...
Afraid to let you go...
Not even sure you'll stay...
Afraid to waste time on worry...
I'm tense and waiting...
Just letting you lead the way...
Holding you all night..
The sun rises on you and I...
Blessed with another day...
You wake and leave...
I'm here waiting...
Just doing what you say...
Not complete with out you..
You're still not sure...
But here with me you lay...
Here we are just going...
Not together or apart..
Just living in the gray...
