I'm not quite sure....

i'm not quite sure what this piece means. it is just the beginning of a poem. not much at all. but i'm not sure what it means. so i don't know how to go on with it. if you guys have any thoughts on it. i'd sure appreciate it.

from where
why
and does it matter?

as they reset with such beliefs
and reasonings that remain
they lose their sight
and not much else
will ever be the same

steadfast in their own truths
they do not listen to other views
without the ability to hear
they have closed their minds to...
