Doom (#47 Monorhyme)
Monorhyme
What is a monoryme poem? Well it is just that…a poem in which the end words of each line rhyme with each other. Yes it is just that simple. There is no specific structure or length to the poem and the only rule is that each line must rhyme with each other.
See how simple it can be
There is no terms or history for this entry…sorry
Now my poem
Doom
We were birthed from her womb
She does not want to send us to our tomb
On the horizon, near or far, does our end loom
Can you hear her crying out in despair and gloom
How much of her will she allow us to consume
Before she sweeps us aside with her mighty broom
Are we sitting at the brink of our own doom
Of this there is no proof, I can only assume
She will send us to our doom…then re-bloom _________________ All poems and stories posted by Eiregirl are
