cigarette
laying in my bed smoking a cigarette
the smoke brings me back to a time i will never forget
fire swept through my village
as the warlords raped and pillaged
i thought i was dead
i heard a noise and raised my head
i saw a raven haired beauty
she held out her hand
being a girl of 16 it was hard for me to understand
but i ran away with her
she grabbed me and launched me into the sky
her long obsedian hair shining in contrast against the moon
i was scared at first
as she took me to her lair
before i knew what happened i felt her teeth sink in
such a mixture of pain and pleasure
i watched her throat as she swallowed
until my head became fuzzy
she opened up her wrist
and i drank of her life escance we had exchanged blood 3 time that night
i feel the pain hit
as my organs reshape running to the corner
i expel my once human toxins
placing me in the earth
putting me to sleep
opening the earth you letting me awake
i feel the air rush into my lungs
what have you done?
your are of night now like me
contemplating her words i feel fangs explode in my mouth
we must feed she says as we launch into the sky
i find a girl and swoop down draining her of her blood
walking to me she says stop
we do not kill little one
i let the girl go come she says we must fly
she grabs me in the air and i feel her hand on my breast
laughing i race ahead
running threw out the house leaving clothing as i go
following my childlike laughter she follows finds me in the bedroom
grabbing my breast i we fall into bed nails and teeth pierce skin
moans and screams are heard through out the night
years drift by always filled with love and fights followed by love making
i am captured by hunters and feel the stake pierce my chest
you rescue me before it pierces my heart
putting me in the earth and putting me a sleep
i feel the stake pierce your heart and hear your last words i love you and don't forget
even in my deep sleep i felt you go
days later i wake up revenge on my mind
finding your body heart gone head decapitated
blood red tears flow down my cheeks
i still as i hear there heartbeats
racing around the room breaking neck by neck
centuries later i still feel the pain
i hate you for leaving me
but i love you for the joy you gave me
with blood red tears flowing down my cheeks
i reach over to put out the cigarette
keeping my promise never to forget
