He Has My Back
When I am anxious
When I am scared
When I am in trouble
When I can’t take it any more
When I see monsters in the dark
When my dreams take on a life of their own
When my dreams come alive and follow me into reality
I call my Father, my only Father
And He calms me down,
He takes away my fear
He tells me it will be alright
He calls my Big Brother,
He calls out His Celestial Guards
And they slay my monsters
They pull the dream away from reality
And banish the dream tentacles back to their lair
My Heavenly Father
My Big Brother Jesus
My Celestial Angel Guards
They all have my back
I am precious to Father
He loves me more than I can ever understand
For this I am eternally grateful
My life is His
I would willingly lay it down for Him.
