i liked the element of progression and time in your poem. it's nice to have something around that doesn;t have any opinions or biases, for you, a guitar, for me, a pencil and a giant sketch pad waiting to be filled with what i consider to be beauty. good poem.

I agree with you. If I am not playing my guitar it is the humble pen, paper, or paint that has no judgement nor bias they just allow my thought to simply flow. Thank you so much for pulling this one out from under all the dust. It is good to see how far I have come. I hope you will always find peace when you apply your skillful hand.

My sweet dear friend. I could just hug you so tight it would squeeze all of the air out of you. I need to get my twelve string out and start strumming again. Thanks fo reminding me.

Update.......
As of the 27th of January I can proudly say that I have now been cancer free for 5 years. I still play that faithful twelve string when I need to heard its soothing sounds. As always I am so greatful to all of my friends here at mels. You fine ladies have become more than just my friend. This is home and you all are truly my family. Love you all.......

I could not think of a better way to celebrate than with family.....by putting up with me all theses years and making since of my poetic rambles. I am so very grateful.

Thank you so much for your love and concern. Your friends will be in my thoughts and prayers. I remember when I first found mels. It had only been a few years at that point since my surgery and treatment. Mels gave me a voice again and my friends here gave me the inspiration to keep writing. Thank you for being there, my heart and thoughts go out to all those whose are still in the biggest battle of their lives, May they one day find a cure so the women that suffer from cancer can heal completely whole with out shedding even an once of their body to survive.
