Kicked in the knees I was
by a lady who says she knows.
She does in a way.
She knows what i know anyway.
But i want to know more.
A fatal flaw i guess
wanting to know more
flying in the face of reason,
but then, here we are.
She thinks that kick doesn't sting,
doesn't ache to the marrow.
It does.
Going down the stairs assend first ...
That always hurts.
Why say anything at all?
Because i know i must.
Because we know.
Because i do respect her.
Because i do remember the pain.
I know it pisses you off.
But that's a good thing, right?
