My dearest friend...
How I have missed working on Haiku's with you.
Shall I get one started?
I love you and think of you always,

I'm not here all that much, Aph.
I have fond memories of working on haiku with you and other friends here; but I have a totally different attitude to writing haiku now. They are poems of-the-moment, and I write them very sparingly.
(This example here is a "jisei" - essentially a poem written at the approach of death.)
Thank you for commenting, and for caring
