Oft I wander through my bizarre mind
Images flash before me so quick
Dark and light I choose between them
Wondering which path I’ll be on
The light calls to me with her love
Dark thrills me, the passion unknown
Which path is stronger in my mind
The light so bright, the dark so evil
Is light dark, can bright be evil
Is there truly a gradation
Does one follow one path in life
Or is life a complex walkway
In ascending do we descent
Pain can be such a indulgence
Pleasure calls with tongues of fire
Are they both just aspects of one
And who am I to question direction
I’ve chosen to follow rather than lead
I who escorted so many before me
Now choose the way of the devotee
There was a time when my word was law
A time when my desires where met
They bowed there heads downward to me
Now my head doth bond with the earth
But there is pleasure in submission
There is grandeur in the rubbish
To feel the bonds applied so tight
By one who loves you so greatly
Kas took my hands, pulled them behind
She whispered in my ear, love thoughts
The click was audible, so tight
I stretched my hands behind me, delight
Standing now in front of her I watched
Clamps she placed upon my small nipples
A silver chain bound them together
Leather cuffs enclosed my slim ankles
She asked me again, so softly
“This is forever my lover.”
The abyss in my mind opened to her
“Yes my dearest Kas, forever.”
But then I stopped, I looked at her
“Do I have a choice, my Dear Kas?”
“Can I decide to stop you now?”
“Is it inevitable now?”
She said, “What direction my love?”
“My love you always chose destiny.”
“Life is choices, you have chosen.”
“Can your mind be changed by your thoughts?”
“Your right, I have chosen my dearest.”
“But is it my right to be chosen?”
“Can I freely make the choice?”
Looking at each other, she raised the whip
She stroked the soft leather in her hands
Opening my mouth she inserted the gag
I twisted in protest for a moment
Then stilled as she raised the whip
The lashes tore my flesh, I screamed
The marks bleed, red blood streamed down
The burning sensation never ended
She moved around me with the whip
That night with salve she rubbed me
Cooing sweet words of love to me
And I knew, yes I knew all to well
My Direction had been chosen

Choices...decisions...we make them everyday for good or bad even if we let others make them for us...it was our choice to let them.
Whether that is what it is about or not that is just a little of my perspective of this wonderful poem you have written.

Questions
This poem raised more questions than answers in my mind.
Eiregirl, I'm writing another poem, continuing to think about
choice in my life, and that of others...
Yes I decided to do what I do.. It was always my choice..
