I wonder what life would be like
Without my friends who nurture me
I wonder how I would survive
Without those who do love me

Emptiness would be my only view
Lack of love would be my downfall
Lack of friends would leave me empty
Survival would leave me so bleak

To live like that, know loneliness
Is that truly living my love
A limbo of the soul, waiting death
We all await death, our legacy

I wonder, about the quality
Of love they talk about, how rare
I wonder why they love me so
Can I be worth their constant love

I see the answer in their eyes
I feel the answer in their touch
I hear the answer in their words
I know the answer in their love

Love is a quality of feelings
Love is being there when needed
Love is giving when it’s wanted
Love is all, Love is everything

I wonder why I love her so
What force draws me to her always
Her face, her hands, her thoughts, her soul
I wonder why I love her so

Then I realize the force of my passion
I understand the need within me
I kneel at her feet, nude as she wishes
And I wonder why I ever left

For she is a force eternal
She is the life within me
Love so rare, floods my soul
I wonder at her beauty
