Never Forget

Warmed with your embrace, I lean over to kiss your face.

Your face, your image burned deep in the corners of my mind

Yet your face, your image so hard to find.

A warmth that cut the chill from my bones with the rags you wrapped around my hearts thrown.

You lifted my soul from the fiery depths, held me close as you tried to make me forget.

Forget the wounds that ran so deep, The gashes from which my blood had seeped.

Bright red blood that had once ran so freely, now trickled out in a deep purple haze as it had lost it purity.

Your arms that once kept me warm, now send a chill to my very core.

The words you whispered in my ears, the very words that once dried my tears,Now have turned my bones into shattering ice.

Forever, Always and never again.. these words spoken that once did mend.

I'm sorry, I do not Love you and good bye
Now are the arrows that have taken flight.
You aim for every vital organ with out thinking twice.

Your words that once told me that every thing was alright,
Now cut like daggers like a thief in the night.

Forever, Always and Never Again...

These words fade as do your embrace that once held me, You Love that healed me and your Face that once was burned into the corners of my mind.

Forever, Never, I'm sorry and Not Again.
Forget the wounds that ran so deep, The gashes from which my blood had seeped.
