They are Part of Me [F]

They are Part of ME

My Alters are all parts of me
Even though they are separate
They are from parts of my life
Which where so traumatic for me

The continually remind me
Of my dark and secret past
Reminding me how weak I was
And how it all happened to me

I wish I hadn't lived through that
I wish I could forget
But I know I cannot change it
Or forgive those who abused me

Some of my Alters are sweet as can be
Yet others are so harsh
They send my head spiralling
Taking all control from me

Well, Miss. Tracey. I do not know much of your back story. But I can tell that you have been through much. And you have so many that care for you here. I see glimps of hope in this. Which I respect. A heigtened feeling letting go, even though is may also seem like an agitation caused by strong feelings. But it is more than worth it.
