Depression

 It's been fifteen years ......
of sadness
madness
confusion
being lonely
feeling crazy.

Suicidal thoughts
come and go.
Counslers
come and go.

Medication.....
oh goody, let's be
drugged up! yeah, right
It's ok but it comes
at a cost.

So I survive
with these random thoughts
actions, feelings.
One constant roller coaster
ride after another.

I want off this ride
just want to be normal.
Is that so much to ask?

Thank you so much for your reply. I didn't really expect to have anyone read it honestly! lol

Yes, at times it can be a nasty illness, but when I look at my life, I can see I've come a hellva long way ....... just once in a while things get a little rough. But I've learned to allow myself to feel the feelings for a day or two and then move on.

I'm a survivor so this too will pass ........

Lemons,
Seems you and I have been writing about some very touchy and heart breaking subjects lately.
I wrote a poem not to long ago, called, "Lifeless Being"...
I understand the struggle, the confusion.
I hope things look up for you in the near future hun!
