open letter to my poetry friends
dear friends
i have been absent from the poetry boards for some time now.
to all that have posted poems, i am sure i would like every one of them for a poet's words are often a mirror through which others can see their souls. and you are all beautiful.
so forgive me for not responding as i would have liked to. i am not in a good place at the moment, and thought long before posting this letter. but people wonder and ask.
so i am still around, but the poetry in my soul is gone. i hope it will return, but until then, it is painful for me to see others expressing themselves. i suppose in a way i am jealous. smile. and i will keep an eye on the boards somehow.
in the meantime, take care. and keep up the good work!
