Missing PM's
I've received a on a couple ocassions now messages to my personal e-mail that I'd received PM's, only to find there no no new updates. Can anyone shed any light on this? I don't want to appear rude by leaving PM's unanswered, but they always don't seem to be making it to my mailbox.
I am not sure what the problem might be...but is your inbox showing 100% full?
I doubt that is the problem because mine stays 100% full but I still get my messages...was just a thought.
Hugs,

After chatting with a friend who sent a couple of my missing PM's, we've concluded that: if someone sends a PM to you, but she clears out her "Outbox" before you receive it, the PM may disappear into cyberspace. So, if you've got Outbox mail, it may not go to the intended recipient if you delete it. It will clear itself from your Outbox once it's been picked up by the recipient. Mystery Solved! (at least I think...)

Chuckles - yes you solved it chica. There's and Inbox, a Outbox, a Savebox, and Sentbox. In and save ae easy to understand but often people dont realize the function of the other two. When you first click on send it will store it in your outbox until the person reciving it has opened it. THENNN it gets moved to your Sentbox. Messages can stay indefinatly in your Outbox if the person never comes to "pick it up" out of their inbox. So this is useful to see if a person has read your message or not. It's also useful if you realize - LORD WHAT THE HECK DID I MAIL HER THAT FOR, let me delete it before she reads it. Of course this is also useful for causing the kind of problem you were having.
So in short - people dont delete items in your outbox unless you really dont want that person to read what you sent them. And again, good job figuring it out chica.
