Indigestion.....yuk

Just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences to me after the removal of my gall bladder nearly 5 years ago. Or knows of friends or relatives who have? For the first few years I really didn't notice a huge difference in what I could or couldn't eat, or when. Over the past year or so I have found I can't eat highly spicey or high fat foods, but hey....I can live with that. Then I found I couldn't eat out at night after about 7pm unless it was bland, easily digested stuff... goodbye to my occasional steak dinner. The indigestion at 2am was simply not worth it.

Last night I had dinner with friends and although I would prefer to eat earlier it was about 8pm. I chose a vegetable soup and grilled fish (Barramundi - delicious) with a few potato slices and green beans. Result - hideous indigestion about 3am and a really upset stomach all this morning.

What can I do? Stop eating out at night full stop? Any ideas are welcome.
