The rain started here yesterday. In a country with little domestic air-conditioning & inadequate commercial air-cooling systems, the heat can be a real problem to some. I love it!
it's been bucketing it down up here for the last 5 days!
though we did have a little bit of sun today
if ancient folklaw rings true!
rain on St Swithin's day(15th July) foretells 40 days of rain

I came to Oregon to help my daughter with her farming and to escape the sweltering Florida temperatures, and it's been nothing but 90+ days since I got here, with no A/C, no breeze, and no relief in sight. I used to love the heat, but it's just soul crushing to try to work in these conditions, especially in a green house or grow room.
Not to mention that I'm dreadful lonely. Guess it's better to be hot and lonely than cold and lonely.
Sigh. _________________ -

Passes ice-cream & electric fan to ae. Would give you a hug but it sounds really sticky! But it does sound amazing to be part of Nature's cycle, I can barely grow grass & fuchsias here !!!
