Mermaids

I'm doing some research on mermaids and legends about them from around the world. If anyone has any good links or any book suggestions, I'd appreciate it if they posted them here or sent them in a PM to me.

Thanks. Smile

Don't wish to sidetrack you but I love some pictures on www.dorianart.com
I can't get the link to work, but if you look under collection C "The Revelation" is based on Alexandra Tydings (Aphrodite in Hercules), which is how I first found the site.

There are several mermaid pictures in here, if you search around......
also under C is "The letter", combination of octopus/mermaid.

Will have a nose around for mermaid stories. Great subject! Smile

I can't find the pics you say, Purple. Sad Could you send me the link when you manage to open it?

Also like the mermaid caught by a jellyfish, and the mermaid hanging from her tail like a caught shark-strange imagery.
Hope they work.

OH WOW!! Thanks, Purple! These are amazing pics. Especially the first one! AMAZING! The second one is great too! Thanks so much. Smile

(Guess what? I was looking at deviantArt. No wonder I couldn't find them! Laughing)
