lol - it makes me wanna say - if you can't do anything good, do nothing at all...
but err... apparently us pesky humans can't seem to manage that... so we do stuff - without always thinking through the consequences of our actions...
but then - it makes me think, is it ever possible to do nothing? If we are all energy aren't we always doing something? if you still still - you are still thinking? and do your thoughts make things happen? (i.e. the power of prayer)
so what is still? does it actually exist...
i wonder
also
i don't believe in evil, so that bit doesn't resonate with me, i translate it simply - as negative action (which is all subjective)
in-action, doing nothing, sitting still - can't that also cause something negative too? is it evil to not feed a child when s/he is hungry? if wo/men sat still what would happen?
my initial thoughts
Kx

how do we harm others? just by action or also by thought and intention?
is it really possible to be still? maybe phyiscally, even mentally... but does our spirit soul vibrate? and cannot it vibrate on all levels? including negatively? when we stop, where does our mind go? does our subconscious come in and out of view...
but yes, i think if we stop - centre - calm - then we can gain awareness and through awareness we are more likely to consider our actions...
i hypothesise, coz i don't know,

I think it's facile nonsense.
One could say that ANYthing-- evil, good, all human undertaking comes from the inability to sit still in a room.
The wonderful thing about rot like this spouted from the lips of someone with an extra helping of brains is that it is just vague enough to be interpreted any number of ways and can never be shown to mean exactly one thing or exactly another. And gee, it sounds so clever at parties.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRubbish!

What does this mean to you
?
It's facile nonsense to me. You
did
ask. You needn't agree with me, but that's my view. The thing about asking for people's reactions is, it's
their
reaction. It's out of your hands. Don't presume to tell me how I have to frame my response. Eat the meat, spit out the bones, dear.
